True Life in God is an exquisite work of Love from beginning to end. One of the most important things you might ever learn about Vassula, is that she is a 'living-sign' of DIVINE MERCY - God's Mercy, which He is generously offering to every created person in order that we might live and die in God's friendship.
In reading True Life in God we are literally enveloped by Love and nurtured by Grace, towards our own personal metanoia - sincere conversion - by which we are enabled and freed to live a 'good' life, a 'true life' as the Holy Trinity desires.
One of the most strikingly beautiful aspects of True Life in God, for me, is the way in which Jesus speaks of Our Heavenly Mother, exquisite words of Love, delicately spoken, captivating the soul. What a breathtakingly beautiful mother we have in Our Lady, who also loves us immeasurably!
